Proud Parents
Baby Balletudes was born of parental intuition and educational research studies on the magic of music, the dynamics of dance, and their effect on early childhood learning behavior and development of movement’s motor skills.
Stephen Gregory Barnes and Dean Tonkin are the fathers and grandfathers whose own children grew up in a heritage of the power of piano keys and rhyming couplets for composing, performing, and the writing of songs and stage plays now brings to you and your baby.
Stephen is the composer and pianist. He is recognized as one of the premier ballet pianists in America and Europe. His home stage is Pacific Northwest Ballet. Dean is the writer of the rhyming that dances across the pages and link the words to the keys to the baby’s inspiration and motivation to move and learn. Music and dance are founded in the math, science of the physical sequencing of muscles and bones, and the innate connection to the arts.
More Children On The Way
In keeping with the movement patterns and variations in the melody, harmony, rhythm and timbre of the music, more ballet classical pieces and matching fundamental dance movements are being planned for your baby, toddler, teen, and perhaps your prima ballerina or ballet dance master of the future…maybe help your children become a genius in another intellectual and artistic world.
It is especially significant that with or without words, ballet music and dance tell a story.
A story about being in tune with you and your baby.....
Listen and Learn.
From Each Other.
